Flam Winery is located in the heart of the magnificent Jerusalem Hills, at the mouth of the Kisalon River and Hakdoshim Forest. The winery is at home in its natural surroundings and combines quality wine with the refreshing sense of belonging enjoyed by second-generation members of the Flam family.

Brothers Golan and Gilad Flam established the Flam Winery in 1998. Winemaker Golan studied in Italy and gained his practical experience by working in wineries in Italy and Australia. Gilad, a law and business graduate, is in charge of the winery's business strategy. Their shared heritage, experience and dreams fired their aspiration to create top-quality wines with an Israeli identity. Substantial capital and human investment, vineyard nurturing, in-depth study of the components of wine and advanced technologies are the guiding forces behind the winery's operations.
Stringent production processes focus on the wine's deep hues, rich textures, prominent varietal flavors and long, smooth tannins.

The connection between love for wine, love for the land and a youthful spirit makes for the ongoing creation of exciting, original Mediterranean wines. The Flam Winery is a winemaker's dream. It is designed to contain a separate fermentation tank for each vineyard and each harvested variety, which allows for preserving the authentic features of each vineyard.
The grapes are pneumatically pressed, using innovative technology designed to retain the advantages of gentle basket pressing coupled with efficiency and precision. The wine press is located in the chilled fermentation room in order to collect the free-run juice after fermentation. The barrel cellar is located beneath the fermentation facility, where the wine is left to age in 225 liter French (70%) and American (30%) oak barrels. Flam winery uses new barrels, never older than two years.
The cellar is equipped with a modern temperature and humidity control system that ensures aging in the optimum conditions required for top quality wines.
